The main purpose and mission of the ProTerapia Foundation is to "promote animal-assisted therapies" in Switzerland.
The ProTerapia Foundation is a non-profit organisation. We actively support innovative, animal-assisted therapies. ProTerapia does not only support projects on a financial level, it works closely with the respective projects. It helps mentally ill children, adolescents and adults as well as cognitively impaired people in Switzerland, as well as improving their development opportunities. This is done through the use of novel animal-assisted therapy methods.
